ABOUT ME

I am a self taught artist and started painting in 2016. The majority of my work is painted using acrylic paint on canvas but in recent times I have started to experiment using watercolours. I regularly sketch and enjoy using Copic Sketch pens to produce vibrant drawings to base future paintings on.

I enjoy researching and painting London architecture to remind us to look closely at the layers of history and culture that have built up over the centuries.

Documenting a blend of both the old and new is an enjoyable challenge and London's streets offer endless inspiration.

I recently started to add people in my paintings as I want to capture scenes of modern life set against London's historical backdrops, which will hopefully evoke nostalgia whilst celebrating innovation. As London continues to grow and change, preserving the stories and connections between its people and architecture becomes vital.
